Week 32 - Merit Award

Well done to Brook for winning the award this week. For always being kind and helpful.

Short but Busy 1/2 Term

Well that 1/2 term flew by! There was some excellent work produced by the children. The highlight for me was their Sci-fi stories that they completed earlier on this week.

All the class worked really hard and tried their best in their reading and numeracy tests. I was very proud of them all.

Thinking forward to next half term, it's going to be another busy one. With end of term reports, sports days, school trips and other events.

I have set a home school task for the holidays. The children should research a country that are taking part in this year's world cup. I've sent a slip out for parents. I looking forward to speaking to the children when they get back from their holidays.

Have a safe holidays everyone. Last term in Class 5 to come.

Class 5 - Top Attendance for the School!

Class 5 won the award for the highest attendance in the school for last term. Well done guys. Here's a pic of us enjoying our prize! Choc-ices all round! :)

Fun Day in Class 5

It's been a fun day in Class 5. We had a special performance by Professor Hugh and Professor Pugh who taught us about food safety. They were really funny. We learnt about the 4 C's. Our visitors commented on how well behaved the children were and also some of the answers they were giving were of a really high standard. Well done Class 5, you did yourselves proud! Here are some pictures of our day.

Easter Fun

We had an awesome time this afternoon showing off our decorated eggs followed by the Llanhari tradition, 'Egg Pacing!'

Well done to Cole Grey for winning the decorated egg, with his 'Eggolympics' and also to Mason Apsee for winning the Class 5 Egg Pacing competition.

World Book Day

The children had great fun today dressed up in their Where's Wally (and other outfits). Here's a few pictures of them writing their middle parts of their fairy tales. Can you spot your Wally?
